Web masters are paid with a commission for every sale made through their website in return. The commission is generally a percentage value of the sale. And some goods or service providers even pay for the direction of users to their website, but it is comparably lesser than the commission.
If you plan to design a website and willing to make some profit from it (at least to cover the annual domain name and hosting charges), affiliate marketing is a very good concept.
